FREE COMMUNITY BOOT CAMP

We meet at the Birdville track in Haltom City (outside Fort Worth). 

6125 EAST BELKNAP ST

Track Main Entrance, Haltom City, TX. The entrance is on the southeast corner of the stadium/track.

We will meet in the parking lot outside the track. Please bring a mat for ground exercises.

We meet at a track, the workouts are not your typical running or track workouts

We do boot camp-esque movements like squats, pushups and lunges using our body weight, medicine balls and resistance bands like these workouts found on my blog:  Medicine Ball Workout and this HIIT the Stairs workout. There may light running/jogging, not more than 1/4 mile at a time.


You can join on MeetUp, on my personal training site or in our Facebook group. I would seriously LOVE to see you there.

If when you think of a bootcamp, you conjure up images of a drill sergeant screaming at the suffering participants, you haven't been to ComCardio's Bodyweight Bootcamp! 

At Bodyweight Bootcamp you will burn major calories while having fun with cardio and strength exercises using your own bodyweight as the resistance. We are an inclusive and supportive class that is appropriate for all fitness levels.

I have a better idea! Before you eat those pancakes, come see me at ComCardio in Hurst, TX for a free outdoor (parking lot) community boot camp for ages 18+.

If when you think of a bootcamp, you conjure up images of a drill sergeant screaming at the suffering participants, you haven't been to ComCardio's Community Bootcamp! 

At Community Bootcamp you will burn major calories while having fun with cardio and strength exercises using your own body weight, medicine balls and resistance bands! We are an inclusive and supportive class that is appropriate for all fitness levels. Spaces are limited because we want to be able to give you individual attention you deserve. It's 100% free but you must reserve your spot and sign the liability waiver online in advance.

WHAT TO WEAR/BRING:

Wear comfortable, fitted workout clothes and cross training shoes.

Bring a mat (we will be on the ground outdoors) or borrow one in the studio.

Bring a water bottle, we have water in the studio for refills.

WHAT TO EXPECT:

5-10 minutes of a dynamic warm up to prep our bodies for a workout.

Strength and cardio circuits using your own body weight, medicine balls and resistance bands. 

A challenging full body workout to include strength and cardio exercises that can be scaled for all fitness levels. Everyone is welcome.

5-10 minutes static stretching/cool down

Class runs from 45 minutes to an hour

We are an inclusive supportive running group that welcomes participants of all running levels. Our goal is to motivate, support and train runners to reach their individual running goals in a non-competitive, inclusive environment. We will meet at ComCardio in Hurst for a social fun run around Hurst. Run/walkers welcome. 

Run Club Tips and Safety

Safety first! Please leave headphones at home. We want to be aware of our surroundings since we will be running on residential streets. Besides, this is a SOCIAL run. It's hard to be social with music in your ears. :)
